Stop and Go Driving School recommends a minimum of 100 hours of training and practice to be safe and defensive behind the wheel. To be qualified for a driver license, the MVD requires you have completed at least 30 hours of supervised behind-the-wheel practice (20 hours of daytime driving and 10 hours of nighttime driving).
